This weekend my friend Gabby was in town so we decided to get together for a good old game of bowling. Now, i have not bowled since i was about 12 and i used bumpers so my game started off rough but i made it up in game 2. I learned some important things from our fun filled night of bowling... 1- Marshall was on a bowling league in high school. ha ha ha... its okay, you can laugh with me, its funny, 2- Brandon is the worst bowler i have ever seen and 3 - the walk back to your seat after you bowl has got to be at least a mile... it seems like forever and the whole time your thinking... what do i do, what do i do? make a joke? smile? hurry and hope no one is looking (although they always are). I think it is the bowling version of the walk of shame, even if you did awesome. Does that make any sense? Just check out the pictures...
Oh... the picture that has the caption of "Marshall stepping up to the plate", that is Brandon, not Marshall. Unfortunatly, i didnt save the slide show so i cant edit it without re-doing it and i really dont feel like doing it over again. If you will notice, Marshall and Brandon are both in white shirts and Gabby and I are both in purple shirts... it was not planned, i swear.

6 QuArKs
I have been tagged by my friend Kathy! I need to list 6 quirks about myself but I decided that since I am not the sole owner of this blog, I am going to list three about myself and three about Marshall, to even out the score a little bit...
Jennifer's Quarks...
1* Everyone who knows me has been effected by this and it is something that i am afraid i cannot control. I have "shaking leg syndrome". My leg constantly shakes, rapidly and steadily. Its very annoying. I don't realize i am doing it until someone points it out. So i suggest not sitting in chairs in front of me because i like to put my foot on the little bar at the bottom of chairs and it is all down hill from there. But in my defense, i think it is genetic! My mom does it as bad, if not worse than me, her sister does it and my older brother Zach does it. SO DEAL WITH IT!!!!
2* Eggs. This will puzzle Marshall for as long as he lives i believe. He is absolutely flabbergasted by how i like my eggs. He tells everyone, looking for support... and... he usually gets it. Okay, so, if i am eating my eggs scrambled i eat the whole egg, if i am eating a hard boiled egg i only eat the white, the yolk grosses me out. If i am eating egg to dip i only dip in the yolk and i cannot stand to eat the white. Its a little weird... i know, that's why it made my top 3 quarks.
3* I live my life by the ever so powerful sticky note. I have them everywhere! On the back of my phone, on my ipod on my steering wheel, on my planner, on my light fixtures, around my computer monitor, just everywhere! I love crossing this off of a list and i must have a list to remind me to do things so this is the solution. When i need to do something i write it on a sticky note and put it in the most appropriate place. For example, i needed a hair appointment in October so i wrote a note that said "call Polly" and stuck it to the receiver of the phone in my office. She works a weird schedule and i have to be sure to call when she is there. Well, sure enough, i called and made the appointment. I of course remove it when i am finished with whatever it said but it is typically replaced with a new one shortly.
Marshall's Quarks...
1* He absolutely cannot stand the sound of a bag crinkling. If we eat chips we MUST put them in a bowl and not eat them out of the bag or he will go insane. It is like nails on a chalk board for him. It cracks me up because his nephew is constantly eating chips and he will carry around the bag of Doritos for hours eating one at a time... the look on Marshall's face is priceless every time.
2* He cannot sleep with any sort of cover tucked in! He has to have just his comforter and a sheet and he HATES HATES HATES touching just the comforter. The order must be the sheet then the comforter and never anything different. None of which can be tucked in. And then he complains that he wakes up in the middle of the night and his covers are on the floor... go figure.
3* This kid checks Steep and Cheap and Whiskey Militia at least 50 times a day!!! They are web sites that have deals on them for nice stuff, like The North Face, Marmot, Volcom, DC, etc. They change the item they are posting every 10 or 20 minutes, or somethings more or less, just depending on how fast it sells out. It is the FIRST thing he does when he wakes up in the morning, then he will check again before he leaves for work, check when he gets to work, check on any break he can get, check on my work computer when he comes for lunch, check when he gets to school, check when class is over, check when he gets home from class, check during the homework process, and it is most definitely the last thing he does before he goes to bed. It is the next best thing to gambling i suppose. He is heavily addicted and it is a very expensive addiction!
I am going to tag... Melissa H., Jenn K., Carrie G., and Tiffany A.

Camping Excursion
Marshall & his nephew AJ getting ready for a wheeler ride
Marshall and his nephew Logan. That sweater is adorable!
Marsh and I on our 4-wheeler ride. I thought this would make the perfect background for the picture, and it did. Not to toot my own horn, but.... toot toot. Isn't it beautiful?!?

This weekend Marshall and I went camping with his mom, Larry and his nephew AJ. His brother Nathan, his wife Jenn and their baby Logan came up on Saturday to join the fun. Friday night we roasted marshmellows, but someone (AJ) left the bag to close to the fire so it was one giant marshmellow instead of little ones. I wasnt about to touch that sticky mess but AJ just bear clawed the whole bag, it was a mess!! Then Saturday we went for 4-wheelin' and just hung out. It was a good time. It is probably the last time we will go this year, it is getting pretty cold. We are planning trips down south to Moab and Arches but its warmer there so that doesn't count.

Trivia Tidbits
I was reading some facinating facts in a Healthy Utah Magazine and I wanted to post a few of my favorites. Some of them will blow your mind.
1- Motorists chatting on cell phones are more impaired than drunk drivers with blood-alcohol levels above .08 percent. 2- Banging your head against a wall burns 150 calories an hour. 3- A cup of coffee contains 1,000 chemicals; of these, only 26 have been tested, and half caused cancer in rats. 4- Right-handed people live, on average, nine years longer than left-handed people. 5- During your lifetime, you'll eat about 60,000 poinds of food - about the weight of 6 elephants. 6- People who struggle handling financial stress are twice as likely to develop severe gum disease. 7- You are about 1 centimeter taller in the morning than in the evening. 8- Laughing lowers levels of stress hormones and strengthens the immune system. Six-year-olds have it best, they laugh an average of 300 times a day. Adults only laugh 15-100 times a day. 9- The average american chows on McDonalds more than 1,800 times in their life. 10- There are more bacteria in your mouth than there are people in the world. 11- According to the U.S. FDA standards, 1 cup of orange juice is allowed to contain 10 fruit fly eggs...but only 2 maggots. 12- When you sneeze, your body is flushing out infected cells. An average sneeze can spread over 100,000 virus cells up to 30 feet. 13- People suffering from a cold are contagious from 2 days before they show symptoms to up to 4 dyas afterwords. 14- In 1972, a group of scientists reported that you could cure the common cold by freezing the big toe. 15- One single bacteria cell can multiply into over 8 million cells in less than 24 hours.

Express Frustration!
I just wanted to take a minute and express my frustration with Express!!!
Once upon a time i bought a pair of jeans there. I wore them the next day all thrilled to have new jeans, only to find out that one pant leg was longer than the other. Needless to say, i returned them the next day. Of course they didnt have the size i needed so i got a whole different jean because they would only do an EXCHANGE not a return. Well, i never wear the jeans i got in place of them because i didnt ever want them but they were better than the pair with 2 leg lengths. I havent bought jeans there since. I do, however, buy my work pants from there. I love the Editors, they fit like a glove and are super comfey and dont have to be ironed. I have 4 or 5 differnt kinds and love them all. Right now they are having a sale, buy one pair the one for 50% off, which i have never seen the Editors come on sale so i had to take advantage of this. I tried on my size and bought 2 kinds. I wore the grey ones and they were fantastic but when i wore the pinstriped ones they were too big... weird... the same size but way bigger. So, i took them back and they didnt have any more of my size so they said they would order them. 3 or 4 days later i got a package and they were the WRONG ones!!! I went BACK to the freaking store to start over. Well, the lady helping me was super pissy, as if i was being difficult. She was way pissed she had to do this for me and made it very clear. Then she asked me how they rung it up because it was rung up wrong... well... i have no idea what the heck you people do behind there, that is really not any of my concern to tell you the truth. Then she said that the pants were not on sale so if i ordered new ones she was going to have to charge me full price. Um... EXCUSE me?? No. I was super nice to her and trying to make it seem like i wasnt as irritated as i was but this pushed me over the edge. I said to her, um, none of this is MY fault, and its actually a joke. I want the pants i originally bought and i want them the right size, is that to much to ask? She got the point. So the other day i got the pants in the mail. Hooray... they are the right ones. I put them on today and got to work and discovered... ONE LEG IS LONGER THAN THE OTHER!!!! This is so ridiculous!!! I dont know whether to fix the hem myself or go and return them yet AGAIN!!! AHHHH... i just needed to let that out. I dont feel better but at least you all know how i feel about LAME stores that cant get it right!

AST Dew Tour
Good times were had at the AST dew tour this weekend. Josh & Tiffany, 2 of their friends and Marshall & I went to the Dew tour this weekend. Marshall & I went last year and were quite impressed so we decided to go again. We started off the afternoon with some Costco pizza. While we were waiting for the pie of deliciousness to be made we walked around and got a bunch of samples... it was so dorky but way fun. We then headed to the Energy Solutions Arena. Unfortunatly they spread the events out so you have to pick which ones you really want to see because there is no way to see them all. We decided that the most important one was the skate park finals so we headed there way early, only to find out that we were not the first ones to feel this way. It was packed. We ended up on the VERY top row. Well, the boys were just not satisfied with this so they decided to just by-pass security and head up to better seats. They did this twice and it we actually ended up with a pretty good location. It was a real good time.

Birthday Extravaganza!!
I just wanted to make a special post to tell my mom and Marshall thanks for the amazing (and 2 favorite) birthday gifts. My mom got me j'adore by Dior and it smells fantastic!! Every year she gets me perfume for my birthday and it is a GREAT gift! I have so many different ones that it is easy to match my perfume with my mood. Marshall got me a BCBG white watch!!! I absolutely LOVE it!!! I told him i wanted the Chanel white watch months before my birthday but i was totally being sarcastic because i would never pay $4,500 for a watch. He did some research and came up with this one that i love even more and i doubt it cost more than 4 grand!!! Marshall's mom also got me a great gift. She got me a gift certificate for a manicure and pedicure at a FANTASTIC salon in Orem. Carrie and i went this last Tuesday and got all pampered and it was a blast. Not to get off on a tangent, but after we went to the salon we watched Baby Mama and it is HILARIOUS!! I loved it! But anywho... back to the subject... I just wanted to say thanks to my mom and Marshall for making my birthday super special!
The Greek Festival
Last weekend Marshall & I went to the Greek Festival in Salt Lake. It was pretty cool. They did performances, dances and had little booths of jewelry and food. We got lunch there (we both love greek food) and just hung out. All around it was pretty cool and something to do. We are sick of sitting around so when an opportunity presents itself we are going to be more open minded and just go with it.

Will It Match Up?
Last night was the season premier of the new 90210. I remember when i was younger i hated going to young womens because it was on the same night as Pary of 5 and 90210 so when i would get home (if i went) i would race to the TV and finish watching whatever parts i could. I used to love both of them. I had low expectations for the new show because when i was younger it took a lot less to entertain me but i was pleasantly surprised. It was actually quite good. Its on the CW at i think 7 on Tuesdays. I dont know if i will get as into it as i used to but it is refreshing to finally watch something other than reality TV. Now that Rob and Big is gonzo and the Hills sucks i think this will be my new show. Well my #2 show... 2 and a half men is most definatly #1!! Nothing compares.
