Viva Las Vegas!!

Marshall's lacrosse team had a tournament in Las Vegas last weekend and the parent rep for the team let him know that he would have his own room so if his wife wanted to come she was more than welcome... um... YEAH, SHE DOES!!!! So I took a half day Thursday and we tried to get out of the house around 4 but that turned into 6 so we didn't get there until about 1 in the morning but the minute we stepped out of the car it was a burst of refreshment!! The cool crisp air, clear sky and no white powdery stuff on the ground!Friday we slept in til noon then went SHOPPING SHOPPING SHOPPING!! We went to a strip mall just south of the strip and I fell in LOVE with the place. It was way clean, had a Tuscany feel to it and had seriously GREAT stores! We got lunch at a little Mexican restaurant and we sat out in the cabana for the afternoon. It was mid 70s, so I had a light jacket but it was BEAUTIFUL! Marshall had a game from 8-10 so after his game with hit up the strip. It was a blast!Saturday I slept in while Marshall was at games. I met him at the filed around noon, we got some lunch and he had about a 3 hour break so we hung out. I tried to catch some rays while reading and watching his last game. We left Vegas at about 7:30 Saturday night and got home around 1:30 and passed right out!It was so nice to take a break from all the craziness that has been going on lately, not to mention the great weather we were lucky enough to enjoy! We had so much fun together and now all we can talk about is the next trip we wanna take.
