Matt & Carrie

Chris & GabbyThey say that the best part of a wedding is the look on the grooms face the instant he sees his bride walking down the aisle. From this picture I would say we have a pretty promising future!
My Dad & I
I think some of the candid pictures are truly the best. You can totally see the complete happiness in both Marshall and I's faces.

Absolutely love this picture! So genuinely happy and excited.
One of my favs.

The whole chi-bang.
I am sorry if people have a problem with me putting picture of their children on my blog, my suggestion to you would be don't have such freaking cute kids!
Coping with pre-wedding gitters.
Austin, looking cute as ever.
Probably my favorite bridal picture. Its tough because I love so many but this one is definitely up there.

Carter, Austin and yours truly.
I LOVE this picture. They look like the mafia and Marshall resembles nothing other than the cocky mob boss. Love it!
Marshall & I with all 5 of our nephews! Extremely hard to get this picture but well worth it!

The wedding party.

Our first dance as husband and wife. We danced to "Wonderful Tonight" by Eric Clapton. It has been "our song" since 2007 and it just wouldn't be right to dance to anything else.
Wow. What a magical day! The photographer took over 1,000 pictures so I am not exaggerating when I say that this is just a taste. My previous roommate made me a scrapbook for the wedding and I will have plenty more pictures in that! I got so many compliments about my day that I am so glad I planned it the way I did. No regrets!

People ask me if I would do things different and I have thought about it and honestly I would say the day was 99% perfect and exactly what I imagined it would be. However, there are 3 things I would change:
1. I would not take one bridal, wedding picture, engagement picture or make any final details without my sister-in-law. She made things PERFECT! I am so lucky my brother has a brain in his head and picked her.
2. I would have taken containers to take home any left over soup. It was delicious in my opinion! Marshall and I have talked about it several times since and totally regret not thinking of it! And I am not kidding.
3. I would have listened to my gut. I wanted to do one thing a certain way and I let others talk me into doing it another way and when I look back I would have gone with my original plan, regardless of feelings being hurt.

With that said, I think that some of the way more important aspects, all of which went perfectly, overshadow these three things 10 fold. Must give credit where credit is due. Thanks to:

1. My 2 cousins, Kryshelle & Brykelle for making my hair EXACTLY how I wanted it. We did at least 3 practices over the past year to perfect it and I must say, Mission accomplished.

2. The photographer for capturing EVERYTHING and doing such a great job and it and being affordable ;o)

3. The florist. I just described what I wanted, no pictures or anything and she hit the nail right on the head.

4. The baker for delivering all the way from Heber and spending extra time making it perfect and delicious.

5. My mom for all her had work. She even bought adorable red shoes that every time I saw and still see in the pictures I get a huge grin. And, the cherry on top was the boys' vests, they looked so handsome. My mom made those as well. She truly is incredible!

6. My uncle Cal for preforming the ceremony (he has been Bishop of the LDS church for 4 months and this was his first wedding. Talk about pressure). He also blessed me when I was born so I found this aspect of the wedding specifically special. My aunt Sue helped a lot as well, she was running around every time I looked over.

7. We really really appreciated the very generous donations to help pay for our special day.

Okay, I am not finished and I just realized that I have nothing to complain about at ALL. I have such wonderful people in my life and it wouldn't have been so smooth without them. If I didn't mention someone specifically it is because I just have to many. What a great thing to be able to say. But it was unfortunate that people thought they had the right to complain, yes, it is true, we had a few complainers and all I can say shame on you.

Oh, One more thing... I love my bridal pictures, and I am glad that I got them because of the whole cap/winter theme but I will admit that the natural glow and smile you have on your actual wedding day make the pictures gorgeous! I still think I would do bridals and recommend getting them done, all I am saying is I can totally tell a difference in my face about what is actually going on.
