Fiji

 Garden of the sleeping giant.  Do you see him?


Buddhist Temple in downtown Fiji.

 We took a catamaran out to a private island.

 Did some snorkeling in the middle of the ocean.  Saw all kinds of pretty fish as well as coral but the coolest thing was the giant blue starfish!  Loved this part of Fiji.  Not to mention that the water feels like bath water and is crystal clear.

 

 

 Also did some kayaking.

Snapped this baby the morning we were leaving.  I was sitting in the hotel lobby waiting for Marshall to check us out.

To be honest we didn't do a great job with the pictures this trip.  It is always a hard balance to try and soak in a place and snap great pictures.  Besides, the real beauty in Fiji is what is under the water and we couldn't get those shots anyways.

Had some awesome help packing.

 To start our trip we stayed a night in California with these hooligans!

Had a visit from my brother's family.

 Tessa learned quickly how to play Brynlee's favorite game.

Marsh and the nephews did some sand art in the garage.

December 2012

We introduced Brynlee to the snow.

 Marshall FINALLY put Christmas lights up on our house, all the way around it.  But it was not without a few choice words.

 We built our annual gingerbread house with Marshall's family.

And then we left it unattended in the car with Brynlee and she helped herself...

And Brynlee got to dress up as a Christmas Elf.  She really puts up with a lot from me ;)

Archimedes

Archimedes was hit by a car today on his morning adventure.

We miss him everyday!

Camping in the Uintas

 My first backpacking trip.  Loved it!

 Brynlee loved it too!  We had no doubt that she would be fine, this dog is nothing like a "little dog".  She gets a bad wrap that is associated with the stereotype.

 Good luck getting into that thing, Ashley.  Ha ha.
