BATMAN Obsession!!!

As many of you know, i am secretly in love with Batman. Not the guy who plays him but the actual figure Batman. Well, i guess the secrets out now... anyways, Marshall is not into these types of movies but he decided that since i have been so good he would take me and sure enough... I LOVED IT!!! Actually, he really liked it to. Heath Ledger played an amazing Joker. Just like Johnny Depp in Pirates of the Caribbean, he blew the role out of the water and it wouldnt have been nearly as good without him. Well, Batman never ceases to amaze me. There is just something about him that definatly does it for me.

We were walking through Walmart the day after we went to the movie and there was a little kids dress up set of Batman and i begged Marshall to let me buy it for him and he could be my batman but he wasnt having it. But as you can see at the bottom of our blog, our anniversary is coming up soon and i think i may get him the suit as a gift, then he will have to LOVE it! ohhhhh i am sooo excited!

The Roots

On Thursday night Salt Lake City has a free concert at the Gallivan Center. Last Thursday "The Roots" were playing so Marshall and I were THERE!!! Tons of his friends met us up there and Carrie came as well, only we didnt ever find each other. The place was packed. Good times were had by all.

We went to Marhsall's mom's house for a bbq today and we had a blast playing with his nephew Logan. He is 15 weeks old and tons of fun! Marshall really warmed up to him, it was super cute.

For Mother's Day my mom and aunt got my grandparents a new patio set. After Marshall had sat inside with a bunch of women for a couple hours he was getting really squirmy so I suggested he set up the patio set.
You should have seen my grandpa run for the door. Apparently he was sick of sitting inside as well. It was so funny to watch. By the time my grandpa was finished reading the instructions and holding that same leg, marshall had the other 2 on and was ready for the 4th. My grandpa also had no shoes on and his socks are hanging off of his feet like elf shoes, which is the case 90% of the time. Look at these two numbskulls... they look like they don't have a clue.

The other day we were driving to Marshall's house after a rainstorm, it was still sprinkling a little bit but nothing like it was doing before, it was really coming down. Anywho... there was the most vibrant, full rainbow that either of us had ever seen. There were actually 2 one was a little dimmer right above the bright one but it was to dim to capture with the camera. I love rainbows, they are so amazing. It was to beautiful not to share.

Utah came back from 19-points down but missed two game-tying 3s in the last five seconds in a 108-105 loss to the Lakers Friday. Daron Williams posted 21 pts and 14 ast for Utah, Lakers win the series, 4-2.

Sad Day

It was the SERIES fanale of Rob & Big a couple weeks ago and my life just hasnt been the same since. It is my favorite show ever! I wish they would bring it back for just a few episodes or something so i can get the closure i need.

You Silly Goose

Marshall got a new bike helmet this weekend and apparently he was excited to wear it. Good thing he is cute...

Alexus

This is my mom's dog on her birthday. She did NOT like the gifts my mother got her...
I told her she looked like a slut but apparently she didn't care. She sure does look comfortable.
Marshall claims he does not like my mom's dog but she sure loves him and everytime we are over there they get all cuddley. I think he is trying to be a tough guy because she is such a princess and he thinks it will ruin his image. But this picture is proof that i think he may like her a little bit.

In Town for Leasure

Marshall's dad Don and step mom Joan were in town for Marshall's brother Nathan's baby Logan's baby blessing. It was good to see them again, his dad is a riot. All that out to eat really does a number on my stomach though, i am not as young as i used to be...

I realize that this isnt the best picture because Marsh is almost blinking but its the only one i had with the star of the show in it so it will have to do. Little babies are so precious.

New Stuff

I bought Marshall a killer bike for Christmas and he is pumped to finally be able to ride it. We were leaving his mothers house the other day and i met him there in my car so i decided to take a picture as i drove by. If you will notice in the background Marshall's peculiar looking dog. It's a lab, beegle, bassset hound. Everybody stares at him, it is so funny. His name is Arkameates and i dont think that was very nice but he is such a happy little fella that it makes me think he doesnt really care.

LAX

Marshall played in a BYU alumni game a few weekends ago and I just now got the pictures uploaded on my computer so i thought i would post one because he is so darn cute. I know it doesnt look like much action is taking place but all the ones of him actually doing something came out blurry so use your imagination. Marshall has such a passion for lacrosse, his eyes just twinkle when we talk about it, i love it!

Girls Trip

Carrie & I decided that we needed a girls night out but we were sick of the "usual" so we went to California last weekend. The trip started out rough when we checked into the hotel from hell but it got better after we checked the heck out of there and found a Marriott. When we checked in we told them our sad story about the crazy ghetto hotel we just came from (that still charged us, even though we checked out... yeah.. it was that bad) anywho... and they upgraded our room to a freaking SUITE!!!!! It was awesome! It was like an apartment and it was HUGE! We had a blast, going to Venice Beach & Manhatten Beach. I would love to move to Manhatten Beach, it was such a cute little town, kinda like a California version of Park City but 6 times as expensive. We loved it!! I would recommend it!

The New Guy

Update

So it has been a while since i have even checked this thing out so i thought i would just write a little somethin somethin. Well, Marshall has been working his butt off in school to get finished but it looks like he is going to have to go both semesters this summer because he procrastinated and had all of his religion courses left and he cant seem to pass humanities for the life of him and that makes no sense to me quite frankly because he LOVES artsy crap. He says the teachers just dont like him but im pretty sure that is everyones excuse when they dont pass a class. Anywho... work has been way stressful for me, tax season is a beeotch but its almost over so i can relax again. I go home from work and pass right out because i am so tired from dealing with the day, its nutts. I am trying to get another job at nights in my field so that i can actually get experience and maybe go to grad school. I am way ready for the next course in my life and i feel like i am at such a stand still. I miss the good old days when worring about what i was going to do that night and who i was going to choose to do it with was my biggest concern. So yeah, Marshall got a weekend job at Atla again which totally sucks for me!!! He keeps telling me everything will be alright, everything will be alright but i am just a worrier and i think the worst of things. He also brought it to my attention that every semester when things change we have this argument and here we are, still trekin along... funny how things work out like that. My brother and his fam are moving back to Utah for the summer and im totally pumped about that. And well... that will pretty much do it.
